Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for layering fibers and fabrics, utilizing epoxies and glues in and on molds and tools. Your role involves assembling and disassembling molds and tools, cutting and measuring fabrics and fibers, and following strict procedures and instructions. Curing processes occur in ovens, and materials can be stored in refrigerators. You will also operate CNC machines and cut tables through computer systems, ensuring precision by following computer-based work instructions and documentation.

ResponsibilitiesLayer fibers and fabrics, and apply epoxies and glues on molds and tools.Assemble and disassemble molds and tools efficiently.Cut and measure fabrics and fibers accurately.Implement visual attention to detail throughout the production process.Operate CNC machines and cut tables using computer systems.Follow computer-based work instructions and documentation diligently.Essential Skills1-3 years of experience in a relevant field.Proficiency in assembly, hand tool usage, and fabrication.Ability to follow work instructions and troubleshoot builds.Computer operation skills.Attention to detail and adaptability.Willingness to learn and inspect composite materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in composite lay-up or pre-preg.Operating CNC or table cutters.Operating ovens or autoclaves.Experience with sewing machines.Relevant experience in auto body work, sculpting, nail technology, or welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean room assembly and open shop floor where standing is required for most of the day. There is a separate room for ovens and autoclaves. The dress code is casual, but safety shoes and glasses are required. The first shift operates from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with plans to open a second shift from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
