We are hiring a night shift **Manufacturing Technician** for a well-known food and beverage manufacturer in **Wilsonville, OR** . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients, monitoring flow lines, sanitize equipment, and perform analytical testing. Opportunities for growth within company in food safety, compliance, quality, etc. **Job Title:** Manufacturing (Syrup) Technician **Location** : Wilsonville, OR **Schedule:** 10pm - 6am, M-F **Pay Rate:** $25.88 - $30.53 **Duration:** Contract to Hire Job Duties + Uphold all safety practices to prevent injury from unsafe work practices and conditions. + Report all safety hazards to management. + Monitor plant sanitation and personal hygiene as outlined by Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs) for food processing facilities + Follow all required work instructions, work aids and forms as they pertain to Quality,Environment, Safety, and Food Safety + Understand, monitor and act accordingly to support: ISO-GFSI compliance, FDA/FSMA regulatory requirements, Food Safety & Quality programs as implemented bythe company. This individual has the authority and responsibility to stop productionshould the product be out of compliance + Perform analysis of incoming, in process and finished materials using analyticalstandardized procedures + Become certified to operate a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck/Forklift) to move rawmaterials + Standardize and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot systems, and equipment and processes + Participate in continuous improvement, lean practices, six sigma, 5S, food safety, environmental and plant safety programs To be a fit for this role: + Minimum High School diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred + 1+ years prior production/ manufacturing experience OR 2+ years of lab technician experience + Mixing and Batching experience in the food of beverage industry highly preferred + Familiarity with lab safety, handling hazardous materials and able to lift 65 pounds + Must be computer proficient, Microsoft Suite As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
