Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing of essential products used in pharmaceuticals.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician
**Location:** Lenexa, KS
**Duration:** 12+ Months contract with possibility of conversion to perm
**Shift Hours:** 7PM - 7:30AM - Night Shift
**What's the Job?**
+ Ensure all production procedures are performed under Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain product quality.
+ Direct daily tasks and support the development of production personnel through effective training.
+ Lead shift handoff meetings to communicate performance and operational updates.
+ Monitor equipment operations and report any malfunctions while collaborating with maintenance teams.
+ Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior leadership or training experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
+ Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with process equipment.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in a maintenance-related field is preferred.
