Our Hillsboro site produces world-class electron microscopes used by scientists and engineers to drive innovation around the globe. This role works collaboratively to produce high-quality components used in the world’s finest microscopes operated by scientists like Nobel prize winners and researchers who imaged the COVID-19 virus.
Discover Impactful Work:The 1st Shift Team Lead of Manufacturing is responsible for directing a team of hourly colleagues within a test and assembly manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities include day-to-day oversight of departmental goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Employee Development. Additional duties include maintaining and repairing specialized equipment to established parameters and specifications. This position collaborates with the entire manufacturing team.

Minimum of Associate's Degree or equivalent experience with a leadership and/or technical focus. Consideration may be given to those who hold 5+ years of dynamically responsible and relevant work experience.Experience
2+ years of tech manufacturing experience2 + years of experience leading a team of 5+ strongly preferredExperience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions preferredExperience with Windows-based and MS Office programs required(Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
