Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to support our medical device client in Norwood, MA. This is a fully onsite role, Mon-Fri. This is also a 2md / 3rd shift opportunity, with working hours of 5:00pm - 1:00am. This hands-on supervisory role oversees direct wage associates and manufacturing operations across assigned shifts. Responsible for ensuring quality production, minimizing downtime and scrap, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: -Lead daily production activities, assign tasks, and ensure output meets quality and schedule requirements. -Monitor equipment setup and operation; troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues. -Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, OSHA, and EHS regulations. -Support investigations, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and audits as a subject matter expert. -Oversee and deliver training; coach and develop team members. -Facilitate smooth shift transitions and communicate effectively across shifts and departments. -Promote Lean Manufacturing principles through Gemba walks and continuous improvement initiatives. -Track production data, manage labor coverage, and escalate issues as needed. -Participate in performance management, including feedback and reviews. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
