Job Purpose and ImpactAs part of the Global Learning & Development team, this role will lead the strategy and execution for developing technical capability across our manufacturing workforce. The focus is on empowering employees at all levels to strengthen their expertise ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing operational environment.
This role will design and implement scalable core and common learning programs that build foundational and advanced technical skills, reinforce operational discipline, and support continuous improvement across manufacturing sites. Programs will focus on practical application, hands-on learning, and performance outcomes that directly enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
The position will partner closely with manufacturing leaders, as well as technical experts, to ensure adoption is aligned with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
As a recognized subject matter expert in learning and development design, this job partners closely with key manufacturing stakeholders to gather technical content and expertise, translating complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into understandable and engaging learning experiences and materials to achieve measurable learning outcomes. This job applies instructional design principles, technologies and multimedia tools to guide the design, development and implementation of measurable and scalable experiences that drive performance-focused employee skill development.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong understanding of and/or interest in manufacturing technologies and technical disciplines (e.g., EHS practices, Reliability Systems, Smart Manufacturing), with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, practical training for diverse Manufacturing audiences.Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning strategies, and change enablement.Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong project management capabilities and comfortable working in matrixed or global organizations.Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Education, Learning Design, or related disciplines.Experience in technical capability development, manufacturing upskilling programs, and/or implementation of new operational technologies (e.g., process control systems, plant automation, or reliability initiatives).Familiarity with manufacturing excellence principles, including safety leadership, operational reliability, process optimization, and compliance standards.#LI-ER1
Compensation DataThe expected salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
