This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manufacturing Quality Planner to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility located in the Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain our commitment to excellence.

Develop and implement quality management strategies for manufacturing processesConduct product audits and preliminary investigations for assembly linesDrive preventive quality management initiatives, including 14Q, QAM, control plans, and FMEA line-walksParticipate in Process-FMEA moderation for new product launches and relocation/localization projectsEnhance quality mindset among manufacturing team members through training and mentorshipCollaborate closely with DBE for Layered Process Confirmation (LPC) and 14Q implementation on the shop floorCoordinate process audits and ensure compliance with quality standardsManage customer complaints, 8D reports, and concession processesAnalyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost reductionDevelop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and FMEA

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechatronic or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control or manufacturingIn-depth knowledge of quality management systems, particularly IATF 16949Proficiency in developing and implementing Control Plans and FMEAStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachExperience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in quality management software and statistical process control (SPC) toolsCost-focused mindset with the ability to identify and implement efficiency improvementsFamiliarity with industry-standard quality tools and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen)Willingness to work in an industrial setting and adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environmentAbility to travel occasionally for audits or supplier visits
