As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will be driving the quality of product and process through the implementation of Continual Improvement tools and initiatives by using effective methodology (Lean Sigma, etc), and make sure the product output is meeting Baker Hughes specifications and customer requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Driving manufacturing quality improvement by liaising with cross functional team to provide high quality standard of products and processes
· Making sure the input for manufacturing process is correct by reviewing the Work Order to make sure the Special Customer Requirements are reflected
· Making sure all the process inputs (Work Order, ITP, SCR, VGS, etc) are being implemented throughout the manufacturing process
· Driving issue resolution of any non-conformities and making sure the CAPAs are effectively implemented and no issue re-occurrence.
· Controlling the Non-Conformance (NCR) rate and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by coordinating with cross functional teams
· Championing Quality improvement initiatives by engaging all employees and stakeholders to boost the good quality culture within the site (Shop quality improvement projects, Six Sigma, Lean, etc)
· Campaigning Defect Free Day (DFD) initiatives, projects and improvements
· Supporting internal and external audits

To be successful in this role you need to:
· Minimum has degree in engineering or similar technical discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas manufacturing industry
· Prove ability to understand technical specifications, drawings, Oil and Gas manufacturing process
· Well understanding in continuous improvement concept and problem-solving methodology
· Well versed in QMS standard ISO 9001 and API Q1. Knowledge of API 6A and API 17D would be an advantage
· Familiar in building and managing Power BI would be an advantage
· Excellent communication and influencing skills to all levels in the organization since this role will be connecting with cross diverse team
· Strong leadership skill and risk-based thinking
· Prove the ability to work in tight deadlines and high-level attention of details
