Manufacturing Professional - Materials Planning and Execution will be responsible for managing and executing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and the process outcomes. Also, manages the S&OP and forecasting team including employee training, development and career progression
As Manufacturing Professional - Materials Planning and Execution, you will be responsible for:
Accountable and responsible for implementation of the S&OP process and compliance to Head Quarter governance including S&OP output graphs/datasets, KPI’s and S&OP actions Work with supply chain on supply planning for medium to long term planning horizon and execute the strategy and deliverables Communicates with regional and product line S&OP planners to fully understand business trends, opportunities and demand forecast Works with the region sales and service delivery to create the regional forecast (12-18 month) Accountable for the aggregation of the region forecasts into a global product line forecast Responsible to net the region demand plans against the inventory to create a region netted demand plan Responsible to net the region demand plan against regional supply plans Works with operations to locate existing inventory or substitutions for open orders Schedule and lead Monthly S&OP Calls Develop and prioritize continuous improvement projects to maximize value of S&OP Ensure demand, supply, and other signals are aligned and communicated to the proper end users Ensure product life cycle management for new and obsolete products are incorporated into the S&OP process Ensure that the product line maker to stock (MTS), make to order (MTO), configure to order (CTO) and engineer to order (ETO) standards are defined and implemented in the S&OP process Manages the S&OP and forecasting team including employee training, development and career progressionTo be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field, or have equivalent experience (7+ years’ experience).Have experience in S&OP and forecasting, inventory optimization and management, and asset utilization and management.Have deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders.Have strategic thinking capabilities with strong tactical execution and a sense of urgency.Have experience managing and developing teams.Have APICS certification.Have people‑leadership experience (direct, matrix, or through influence) with demonstrated Leader of Choice capabilities (Drive Culture, Inspire People, Achieve Results, Growth Mindset)Work in a way that works for you
