Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor II to join their team in Bellevue. The Manufacturing Production Supervisor is a central figure in the production environment, tasked with the management and guidance of production workers to meet set goals and uphold quality standards. Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a large, complex, and fast-paced food production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers. **Job Title:** Manufacturing Production Supervisor II
**Location: Bellevue , WA**
**Pay Range: $40**
**Shift:** Shift: 1st shift (6am - 4pm) Wed, Thurs, Fri and 2nd shift for Saturday (12pm - 10pm)
These will be 4/10-hour days
**What’s the Job?**
+ Position will overlap with Shipping and Receiving. 80% of roles will be production focused and 20% will be assisting with Shipping and Receiving.
+ Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
+ Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principles and processes available to maximize efficiency.
+ Promote development of cost saving initiatives.This role involves scheduling, task assignment, efficiency monitoring, and troubleshooting.
+ Develop a work environment within food manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
+ Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.).
**What’s Needed?**
+ BS Degree preferred. Manager will look at candidates with relevant work experience.
+ Minimum Qualifications: 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
+ 1 or more years experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
+ Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
+ Strong leadership background - ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
+ Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
