Manufacturing Production Associate
Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

Production associates will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of all sizes, trimming plastic excess, cutting to specification, and coiling the pipes into rolls. Candidates must be comfortable with routine lifting of 30-40 pounds and maneuvering heavier parts up to 100 pounds with assistance.

ResponsibilitiesUnload drainage pipes of various sizes.Trim excess plastic from pipes.Cut pipes to specified lengths.Coil pipes into rolls.Lift and maneuver parts weighing up to 40 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds with team assistance.Essential SkillsGeneral labor or production line experience.Machine operation experience.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.Experience with hand and power tools.Packaging experience.Ability to operate a sawzall (training available with hand/power tool experience).Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, being cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The facility is fairly organized and recently installed a brand-new production line. The facility can become cramped if a lot of scrap plastic is produced. The team consists of approximately 60 employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
