Manufacturing Process Lead II
**What you will do:** + Monitor hourly production performance and execute tasks aligned with the production schedule, adjusting resources as needed throughout the shift. + Troubleshoot equipment, quality, and process issues as the first point of contact to minimize downtime. + Operate machinery or perform builds up to 50% of the time to support production goals. + Train team members and ensure certifications are current across safety, quality, 6S, SLMS, MDI, and preventative maintenance. + Maintain and coach others on MDI Tier I boards, lead daily improvement activities, and step in for the Production Team Leader when required. + Communicate effectively during shift handoffs, support onboarding of new and temporary employees, and provide real-time performance feedback. + Collaborate with leadership to assess team performance, identify resource needs, and assist in hiring processes. + Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives, execute Leader Standard Work, and identify human factors risks using approved tools. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED **Preferred Qualifications:** + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment + Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and influence teams + Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills **Technical Competencies (JDE):** + Proficient in reviewing and understanding inventory transaction history + Ability to perform Purchase Order inquiries + Familiarity with Kanban Master setup + Skilled in executing inventory transfers **Physical & Mental Requirements** + May involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as appropriate. + May be required to reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities. + Requires use of safety glasses and associated clean-room PPE (gowns, goggles, masks, shoe and hair coverings, etc.) in designated areas. + Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended. + Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
