Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Design, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Collect and analyse production data to measure process effectiveness and identify root causes of inefficiencies.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive change and ensure successful implementation of improvement projects.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for improved processes.
Lead Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on project progress, savings, and performance metrics to management.
Support cost reduction initiatives and drive waste elimination efforts.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements in all process improvement activities.
Generate CAPEX proposal justification reports to support capital investment decisions.
Lead PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) assessments on factory equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
Lead Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe equipment isolation during maintenance and process changes.
Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in manufacturing process improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) required.
Experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and manufacturing software.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred.
