Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee the entire manufacturing process from design to production. You will work closely with various teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire project lifecycle from design to manufacturing.Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure timely project completion and proper material usage.Act as a liaison between design and manufacturing departments.Engage in all aspects of the process including design, build, test, source, and scale.Implement process improvements and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced design and prototyping.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes.Proficiency in SolidWorks and project management.Experience with structural steel production.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with process improvement, design-build, and prototyping.Knowledge of manufacturing cost control, robotics, and hydraulics.Experience with test procedures and continuous improvement.Work Environment
This position is based on-site, working directly with design and test teams. You will not have direct management responsibilities. There is a requirement for less than 20% travel. The role involves collaboration with teams in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Wisconsin, as well as one local machine shop. You will manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced design and prototyping, contributing to a dynamic startup environment with large financial backing. The team consists of 50 professionals within a company of 150 employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
