Manufacturing Process Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer with a strong background in Structural Steel production and extensive experience in the complete manufacturing process including design, build, test, source, and scale. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree and possess at least five years of relevant experience. Exceptional communication skills are essential as the role involves liaising between design and manufacturing teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and use the correct materials. Responsibilities + Follow the entire project lifecycle from design to manufacturing. + Problem-solve and communicate effectively with various groups to ensure project timelines and material accuracy. + Serve as a liaison between design and manufacturing teams. + Engage in all aspects of the process including design, build, test, source, and scale. Essential Skills + Experience in manufacturing processes and engineering. + Proficiency in process improvement and project management. + SolidWorks expertise. + Knowledge of test procedures and manufacturing industry standards. + Prototyping and project coordination skills. + Understanding of manufacturing costs and robotics. + Knowledge of hydraulics and structural steel. + Continuous improvement and process engineering skills. + Design skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Work Environment The position is based in a vibrant start-up environment with a team of 150 people, including 50 in the engineering team, supported by significant financial backing. The role includes working directly with on-site design and test teams. There is no managerial responsibility, and travel is less than 20%. The work involves collaboration with vendors and managing outsourced design/prototyping. Located in PA, IL, Wisconsin, and a local machine shop, the role requires diverse experience beyond current design engineers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
