**Job Description**
Our ideal candidate will challenge our current operations and focus on improving all facets of our manufacturing processes across the site, including new equipment and product integration. Manufacturing Process Engineers will be the leaders in process innovation across the Production Value Streams and will be at the forefront of problem solving and resolution to technical production barriers. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring technical compliance to manufacturing processes, policies, and procedures while providing innovative solutions to our cross-functional teams to improve customer delivery, cost and schedule.
As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will
+ Provide technical support to manufacturing and related functions for both existing and new programs.
+ Work with cross-functional CMS teams on alignment for new advanced manufacturing methods and processes.
+ Work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
+ Ability to create a process improvement roadmap for assigned value stream focusing on lead time and cycle time reductions.
+ Research, develop, and improve existing manufacturing processes, methods, and systems for products, facilities, fixtures, tooling, equipment, and materials.
+ Develop and test work methods and procedures to ensure performance and quality of materials, products, and machines meet specifications and standards.
+ Apply engineering design and analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to Assembly, Machining, and Welding areas of production.
+ Develop and write technical documentation, make revisions to existing documentation, and provide input to technical papers or presentations.
+ Set up, organize, and populate Manufacturing Engineering production information using Microsoft Office Suite Products.
+ Lead, develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to solve technical problems and implement solutions.
+ Provide in process support to new processes for all manufacturing operations including Assembly, Machining, and Welding areas of production.
+ Identify equipment needs and improvements and pursue capital expenditure for implementation.
+ Develop work documentation, including routings, work instructions, and visual aids to guide the production workforce for their assigned area.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as engineering or technology. May consider additional experience in lieu of degree.
+ Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency of MS Office Suite products (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.).
+ Excellent planning, time management, organization, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
+ Proficient communication in English is mandatory, with the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless and effective interaction.
+ Ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and partners, to achieve common goals and drive successful outcomes.
+ Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, drawing standards and procedures of Weld and Machining engineering processes with large components.
+ Experience working with current computer applications, CAD programs, and model manipulation.
+ Project management experience in a relevant manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with developing cost-benefit analysis, ROI and estimating production standards.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Defense Contracting Experience
+ Experience with ERP/MRP systems, such as Baan or Oracle
+ 5 plus years of welding and machining in a heavy equipment or component environments
+ Six Sigma and/or Lean certification
+ Experience with Capital Project management and implementation of new equipment and/or factory setup
+ Previous experience with digital introduction on equipment
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
