You will be the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for managing the internal Make Planning and Material Handling team within one of the production buildings on site.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing planning, production support, and material handling teams to ensure efficient production operations. You will oversee the management and staffing of approximately 3-5 direct reports and work to continuously improve production processes through Production Management Teams and operational metrics.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in production, logistics, supply chain, or inventory control
• Experience with SAP or an MRP equivalent
• Demonstrated ability and experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Teams, etc.)
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and must have a final secret clearance prior to starting.
• **Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment
Desired Skills:
• Previous leadership experience
• Experience/understanding of managing budgets
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, office applications and warehouse management systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make effective decisions
• Working knowledge of Apriso Warehouse Management
• Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing operations experience
• Experience and understanding of establishing performance metrics commensurate with role
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
