Manufacturing Planner (Spares, Retrofit & Mods)

Position Responsibilities:

Perform ME responsibilities (i.e. interpret drawings, models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability of spare parts)Building technical data packages for use by suppliersPlan and perform engineering analysis work at the sub component level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and requirementsWork closely with Team Leads to assist other team membersWork with project engineers, stress, suppliers and procurement to support customer needsWork and coordinate with other engineering groups to ensure requirements are metDevelop analytical process to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiencyExperience in manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, supplier driven changesBeing able to Interpret Industry/Company Standards & ProcessesSome tools to be familiar with are SAP, REDARS, PDM and other industry engineering tools

SHIFTS:

First six to twelve months the position will be first shift. Must be open to working second and/or third shift after the initial first several months.

1st Shift - 7:00AM to 3:30PM

2nd Shift - 3:00PM to 11:30PM

3rd Shift - 11:00PM to 7:00AM

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's or Associate’s degree from an accredited course of study, in technology-related fields or other technical degree. Plus 2 years of exp or more (for Bachelors) and the below experience, or 4 years of experience or more (for an Associates) and the below experience:Experience in Manufacturing Planning w/Bachelor's or 4+ years of exp w/Associates.Experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment w/Bachelor's or 4+ years of exp w/Associates.Strong knowledge of SAP toolsExperience in manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, supplier driven changes

​Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of Manufacturing Planning experience in commercial aircraft environment1+ years of experience in Production or Spares

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
