Manufacturing People Partner (Human Resources Manager)
Manufacturing People Partner executes the People Strategy for the Philips manufacturing site in Costa Rica, operating in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. As part of the global People function, MPP partners closely with Manufacturing leaders to enable safe, effective, and engaged operations. As the lead People Partner at site level, MPP coordinates the local People team and other Manufacturing People Partners, working closely with Talent Acquisition. This role aligns workforce planning, employee relations, and people processes with business priorities, global frameworks, and local labor legislation, combining strategic partnership with hands‑on execution. **Your role:** + Act as a strategic People Partner and coach to Manufacturing leadership, supporting talent, performance, and leadership development. + Lead workforce planning and core people processes, including staffing, performance and talent management, engagement, and compensation and benefits. + Own employee and labor relations, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant case management in line with labor law, collective agreements, and internal policies. + Drive culture, engagement, onboarding, and support organizational change, restructurings, and workforce transitions. **You’re the right fit if** + You have min. 5+ years of experience in People Partnering, HR Business Partnering, or similar roles, preferably within a manufacturing, operational, or industrial environment + You have a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree is preferred + You bring strong experience in employee relations and labor relations, including application of labor law. + Your skills include stakeholder management, project management, employee relations and performance management. + You speak English fluently. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
