Job Description
As a Machine Operator in the Monolithic department, you will work in a collaborative team environment where you will operate heavy manufacturing equipment. Your role will require effective communication and adaptability to a dynamic and lean workplace. You will interface with computer-controlled systems and frequently troubleshoot both mechanical and computer equipment issues. Accurate data entry and adherence to written instructions using the shop floor computer system are essential. Team members are also expected to participate in team activities, such as meetings, providing and receiving feedback, sending and reading emails, housekeeping, and safety activities.
ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy manufacturing equipment in the Monolithic department.Troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Accurately enter data and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system.Participate in team meetings and activities, including giving and receiving feedback, and maintaining housekeeping and safety standards.Operate wire braiding machines, electrical crimping/sparking stations, and reel machines.Essential SkillsMechanical skills and experience in production and packaging.Basic computer literacy.Experience with machine operation and data entry.Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP or any ERP system is preferred but not required.Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is an asset.Motivation to solve problems and exceed expectations.Experience participating in LEAN exercises.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is loud and industrial, requiring the use of goggles and earplugs on the floor. The role involves occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and frequent physical activities such as pulling, pushing, grabbing, bending, stooping, or kneeling. You must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and use a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
