Manufacturing Operator
Essential Functions The main function of the Manufacturing Operator position is to support with operating activities within our secondary operations area.A flexible and responsive approach is essential, together with the ability to effectively problem solve and identify areas where improvements can be made to existing processes and methods. This role is on the rotating morning and afternoon shift, mornings 5.45am - 1.35pm, afternoons 1.25pm - 9.15pm. Specific Responsibilities + Operating machinery in our secondary operations area to include the waxline. + Performing quality checks on parts. + Identify and perform preventative maintenance tasks. + Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within Cell area - together with other Cell Members, keep area free from oil and ensure a safe working environment. + Fork Lift truck operation - in accordance with legislation and company safety regulations. + Understand and comply with the company’s EHS and quality procedures. + Input into the Cell Operation as a team member; working to best practice. Offer suggestions where appropriate to improve working methods and towards developing a continuous improvement environment. + Read graphs, charts and technical drawings.
