**Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories in Worcester, MA is currently hiring for multiple positions. The manufacturing operator would be primarily responsible for performing the essential functions associated with their job description** **Assignment & Essential Functions:** + Kiln Setter/Drawer II: A Setter/Drawer II plans and builds car configurations and stacks products in specified patterns on racks, platforms, or tunnel kiln cars to prepare for loading into periodic or tunnel kilns, ovens and or furnaces for burning. + Follows manufacturing instructions to use deck batts, blocks, clamps and fillers for preparing products such as ceramics and abrasives for heating or firing. + Selects product by burn type and dates according to firing schedule + Draws product from kiln by hand or by using hoist and truck cars. + Moves product to stripping area for visible inspection. + Other related duties assigned - + Machine Operator (Hydraulic Molder): Applies a variety of methods, procedures and techniques to mold products using hydraulic presses or molding equipment to compact mix to shape product.
