You’ll join a business with a long track record of engineering excellence, set in the wonderful town of Burbank filled with great community atmosphere, schools, weather and no shortage of entertainment. **Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics!** **Responsibilities:** + Handle projects or some of the work normally performed by an entry-level, professional employee + Provide Operations support for the New Product Introduction Process + Work closely with other members of the Operations team such as Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors, Buyer/Planners, Assemblers and Technicians. + Work closely with other cross functional members of the Integrated Product Team such as Design Engineers, Program Managers, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business Managers. + Attend seminars, meetings, and Kaizens as assigned. + In addition, for Operations: + Assist in creation of production cell layouts and workstation configurations + Assist in development of the lean manufacturing process for new products + Assist in coordination of documentation and materials required to support hardware deliveries + In addition, for Supply Chain: + Assist in volume analysis and determination of MRP related parameters for part settings + Assist in coordination of material flow and part availability to support hardware deliveries + Implement systems and processes for WIP management **Minimum Requirements:** + _Experience_ : Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in operations, manufacturing, supply chain or engineering + _Skills_ : + Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills + Possess effective interpersonal skills in a team environment + Must be project-oriented and be able to multi-task + Knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint + Ability to fulfill a one quarter or semester internship commitment, 40 hours per week + _Education_ / _Certification_ : Must provide GPA, minimum accepted 3.1 on a 4.0 scale. + _Eligibility Requirement_ : Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible. **_Salary range: $25.00/hr. to 30.00/hr._** Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
