With continuous learning, career growth, and a supportive culture, IBM provides the opportunities to build expertise and shape the infrastructure that drives progress. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Supply Chain Professional, you will be responsible for applied real-time end-to-end Supply Chain management and leadership expertise on a global, multi-channel, multi-brand, and multi-partner basis. You will execute strategies to optimize cost and inventory to support the planning, building, and coordination of delivery of our products to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Execute Global Supply Chain Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost and inventory, ensuring efficient delivery of products to clients. This involves collaborating with global logistics, procurement, and commodity managers to optimize the supply network. • Lead Risk Management: Ensure adherence to the governance of the established risk framework through effective monitoring of risks to minimize exposures and strengthen the overall control environment. • Collaborate with Executive Teams: Engage with IBM executive teams to optimize the supply network and ensure alignment with business objectives. • Implement New Ways of Working: Lead the adoption of new practices, such as Agile and IBM Design Thinking, to drive innovation and efficiency in supply chain management. • Utilize Advanced Technologies: Leverage advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Command Center, and Blockchain, to optimize supply chain operations. This is a 1st line manager position, it covers all aspects of managing, making, and delivering IBM products and services to clients worldwide. This includes end-to-end manufacture of products, procurement, distribution, logistics for products and services, fulfillment, planning, enhancement to existing processes and systems, maintenance of existing systems, and other related activities. Each of these is focused on collaborating across the supply chain and across IBM functions to optimize speed, cost, client relationships and client satisfaction. It is charged with building the most advanced and cost-effective On Demand supply chain in the industry to enable IBM to gain market share, grow revenue and profit, improve cash flow, and enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role also coordinates and collaborates with customers and key partners, which can be IBM owned manufacturers, suppliers, intermediaries, and third-party service providers. Focuses on Individual/Team/ Department Operational Objectives. Skills: **Required technical and professional expertise** • Exposure to End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Applied knowledge of real-time supply chain management, including planning, building, and coordination of delivery of products to clients on a global, multi-channel, multi-brand, and multi-partner basis. • Experience with Supply Chain Optimization Strategies: Understanding of strategies to optimize cost and inventory, including collaboration with global logistics, procurement, and commodity managers to optimize the supply network. • Familiarity with Risk Management Frameworks: Knowledge of established risk frameworks and experience with effective monitoring of risks to minimize exposures and strengthen the overall control environment. • Exposure to Advanced Supply Chain Technologies: Familiarity with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Command Center, Cognitive Supply Chain Advisor (CSCA) 360, Blockchain, and Internet of Things. • Experience with Agile Methodologies: Understanding of new ways of working, including Agile and IBM Design Thinking, to drive innovation and efficiency in supply chain management. Skills Required * At least 2-year MFG experience, good knowledge and understanding in system’s HW . * Good knowledge and understanding of MFG processes, logistics, Inventory Control and high-quality deliverables. * Strong communication, Solid innovation and agile foundations, experience in organizational and administration skills, and easy to work with. * Strong leadership, manager teams, prioritize and balance workload to meet commitments within defined schedules. * Detail oriented and client focused. * Flexible, Able to work in changing conditions to meet target deliverables and ship dates. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Advanced Supply Chain Technologies: Familiarity with technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Command Center, Cognitive Supply Chain Advisor (CSCA) 360, Blockchain, and Internet of Things to optimize supply chain operations. • Agile Methodologies: Understanding of new ways of working, including Agile and IBM Design Thinking, to drive innovation and efficiency in supply chain management. • Global Logistics Knowledge: Exposure to global logistics, procurement, and commodity management to optimize the supply network.
