Job Description

Compensation : $34.85

Shift :1st (7:45am - 4:15pm, Mon - Fri)

Shift Differential : +$0.50

A Day in the Life:

Knowledge and capability to perform Piping including skills such as: laying out piping runs, specifying materials and assembling piping systems.Performs equipment operation and maintenance. Relevant equipment includes, but is not limited to: boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, pumps, filters, HVAC equipment, and blowers. Employees should have a familiarity with fire suppression systems.Demonstrated knowledge of procedures and methods used in industrial electrical problem solving. Ability to properly construct electrical systems.Ability to work unsupervised for preventive and corrective maintenance in any area of proficiencyProven ability to prepare a Safety Work PermitAbility to learn and understand plant electrical systems. This includes the ability to follow the Single Line Diagram, identify the power source for various pieces of equipment and safely isolate power when necessary for maintenance or repair activitiesWith assistance, works from drawings/blueprints to plan and lay out workReviews drawings for projects and upgradesWorks proactively to prevent equipment failureWorks independently to repair equipment even before basic problems are reported.Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Dedicated to working in the safest manner possibleGeneral mechanical proficiency

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materialsAbility to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
