Job Description:

Operates slitting machines to roll TTR onto cores per specification of order. Work to achieve weekly, monthly and annual output targets.

Responsibilities:

To set up and operate slitting machines according to the appropriate “machine operator’s manual” under direction of the supervisor. Carry and supply materials to the machines.  Remove finished product from the machine. Supervisors will determine the machine each operator is assigned to.Operators will be cross-trained to operate different machines. Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.Help train other machine operators. Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.
