Job Description

This position will support our Cable Assembly and other assembly areas by performing the following responsibilities:

Create and modify cable drawings and technical documentationWork with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings to ensure accuracy and completenessBuild and assemble electrical test fixtures for cables and related componentsSupport process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutionsMaintain accurate records and documentation of assembly processes and test resultsCollaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to troubleshoot assembly challengesAssist in organizing and maintaining work areas to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards

 

Qualifications

 

Recent degree or current enrollment in an engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)High GPA (3.0 or above preferred)Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to manufacturing environmentsStrong organizational and communications skillsExperience with 2D drawing and drafting using software similar to CorelDrawDemonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentationHands-on experience with assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing processes (preferred)Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical workProblem-solving mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvementsFamiliarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings (preferred)Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with engineers and techniciansKnowledge of workplace safety standards and practices in manufacturing settings
