Basic Qualifications:
' Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
' Strong interest in aerospace manufacturing and metal products
' Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
' Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
' Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
' Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts

Physical Requirements:
' Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and production equipment

Position Overview:
' The intern will assist cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, engineering, planning, and supply chain while developing practical skills in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
' Support manufacturing operations related to machining, deburring, inspection, and assembly of metal fittings
' Assist with data collection, reporting, and basic analysis related to production efficiency, scrap, rework, and throughput.
' Help maintain accurate production documentation in accordance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO, etc.)
' Shadow and assist supervisors, engineers, and leads with process improvements and workflow optimization
' Support inventory tracking, material flow, and basic scheduling activities
' Participate in safety initiatives and comply with all EH&S requirements
' Assist with continuous improvement projects (5S, Lean, standard work documentation)
