Location/Division Specific InformationThis full-time role is based in Lebanon, TN, within our Manufacturing & Distribution division.
Discover Impactful Work:Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and support the operations of a 400,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, including 60,000 sq. ft. of cleanroom space. Your efforts will drive scientific breakthroughs in healthcare, food safety, and environmental protection.
A day in the Life:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.Conduct calibration and certification of cleanrooms and controlled environments.Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems, instrumentation, and equipment.Keys to Success:To go for in this role, you must be exceptionally organized and team-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and take initiative. EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent experience required.ExperienceSecondary education in a technical field (completed or ongoing), OR3+ years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and plumbing systems.Familiarity with calibration subjects (temperature, force, humidity, pressure, etc.).Willingness to learn new systems (e.g., HVAC, PLC, DI water, vacuum systems).Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentLift 50+ lbs. and push/pull up to 150+ lbs. Frequent physical activities include stooping, crawling, and climbing. Work environments may involve noise, chemicals, and fast-paced equipment.
