Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join a large manufacturing company based in West Hartford, CT. The Manufacturing Technician will provide technical and mechanical support for improving and developing manufacturing processes, machinery and production efficiency. They will work with the Manufacturing Engineers to analyze production methods, troubleshoot equipment and complete various hands-on task. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
-Conduct diagnostic tests to help engineers design, build, and document tool and processes to increase quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness.
-Troubleshoot machinery and production equipment
- Support production processes through proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
- Help engineers to design and implement modifications and upgrades to production equipment and processes
- Assist with training to help support production personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of production equipment

Skills and Requirements
-This role requires a strong technical understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing technology, and excellent communication and diagnostic skills.
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in manufacturing operations. - Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment to include Aerospace, Automotive, or Machine builds
-Basic understanding of blueprints or technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
-Strong written and verbal communications skills. null
