Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead

GE Aerospace is a world-leading provider of integrated systems for commercial, military, business, and general aviation aircraft. **Job Description** **Duties & Responsibilities** + Own all solder process within the PCB manufacturing shop. + Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across all owned processes. + Responsible for coaching junior members of the team within relevant process engineering disciplines. + Own and report out on process health improvement projects. + Identify industry trends and ensure alignment of manufacturing processes. + Ensure that the organisation’s manufacturing processes comply with relevant policies and aerospace regulations. + Perform risk and mitigation assessments. + Identify/evaluate improvement opportunities. + Co-ordinate and support the requirements needed from ME. + Proactively manages workload. + Communicates to internal customers and functional leadership. **Required Qualifications/Experience:** + Bachelor's degree or diploma and/or relevant experience. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Significant Manufacturing experience. + Experience managing projects. + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office-based applications (Excel/PowerPoint) **Desired Characteristics** + Experience in industrial engineering, working knowledge of VSM, capacity analysis and time study frameworks. + Experience in Aerospace, Military, Manufacturing, or similar sector. + Knowledge of business-related systems (TIP QA, Proficy, Oracle). + Six Sigma - Green Belt or higher. **Flexible Working** GE supports and encourages flexible working arrangements, where possible, and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance. **Total Reward** At GE Aerospace we understand the importance of Total Reward.
