Join a leading team driving innovation in automated manufacturing systems. We’re seeking a strategic Manufacturing Operations Manager to collaborate with operations and product managers to optimize manufacturing processes and support product engineering initiatives. This role is critical in aligning cross-functional goals to achieve product group objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives in assembly operations, manufacturing process optimization, cost estimation, systems planning, and equipment/tooling standards.Oversee the development and continuous improvement of operating methods, systems, and infrastructure to meet production goals.Coordinate machine and equipment release schedules, ensuring alignment with material availability and production demand.Champion the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies, validating equipment and system effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Proven experience in automated manufacturing systems, lean manufacturing, and process engineering.

Core Competencies:

Decision Making & Critical Thinking – Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed, strategic decisions.Capacity Planning & Resource Management – Skilled in forecasting production demand and allocating resources efficiently.Lean Manufacturing Expertise – Deep understanding of lean principles and their application in high-volume production environments.Manufacturing Equipment & Safety – Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and logistics equipment with a strong focus on safety compliance.Process & Standards Compliance – Ability to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, procedures, and regulatory policies.

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
