Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with aerospace machining expertise to oversee shop floor operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
Aerospace machining background.
Experience in manufacturing aerospace environment (minimum 10+ years).
Knowledge of FAA regulations (14CFR Part 21 and 14 CFR Part 145).
Experience managing a team of direct reports.
Proficiency in MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with assembly, welding, brazing, machining, and testing processes.
Speaking Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Support production and machining requirements for new product development.
Ensure continued certification to AS9100 Rev. C and ISO9001:2008 standards.
Provide quality coaching to staff and management team.
Manage Cost of Non-Conformances (Scrap/Warranty).
Perform contract reviews for customers/products.
Participate in cross-functional teams for Operational Excellence Initiatives.
Pay: 70000-80000
