Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor

In this position... 

Main responsibilities are-provide program cost study from <PS> until <PA>; manage all aspects of the DPA5 process from UN/P0 until UN/PV2, develop process sheets, PFMEA’s; define control methods to support the C.P.; execute P-Release; work with counterparts in APD and PD to resolve product design and mfg. issues quickly; incorporate new technologies and automation into the DPA5 process to improve delivery and quality; collaborate with the  Strategies Team to incorporate new std assembly processes, tooling, and facilities that accommodate new technologies or efficiency improvements; drive labor efficiency and complexity reduction where possible during the review of new content/features development. Also, he is responsible for the Interior SME, making sure all GMRs are incorporating new technologies. Locator strategy is another fundamental item on this roll; the sup is responsible for making sure the new parts follow the std, and the process will deliver the right capability.
