Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer IV

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced manufacturing engineer to lead and support the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies across complex aerospace programs. This role is central to ensuring producibility, driving design integration, and enabling seamless transition from concept to build within a fast-paced development environment.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement advanced manufacturing and tooling strategies to support program objectives and production readiness.Actively participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to align technical solutions across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality disciplines.Lead the development and maintenance of conceptual designs and program architecture to support build strategies and tooling requirements.Create and execute manufacturing plans that align with program milestones and ensure efficient production flow.Conduct detailed analyses to validate that manufacturing processes meet design intent and capability requirements, minimizing variation and risk.Analyze design and build concepts to assess manufacturability and recommend improvements for cost, schedule, and performance optimization.Resolve complex technical issues with significant impact on program success, applying advanced engineering principles and innovative solutions.Coordinate and implement new engineering theories, technologies, and concepts to enhance manufacturing capabilities.Validate solutions for production readiness, ensuring alignment with lean principles and continuous improvement goals.Contribute to project plans with producibility insights and help document best practices for future reference.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 9 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.Producibility expertise – this is the most critical and non-negotiable requirement.Strong background in design reviews, including layout and drawing evaluations.Proficiency in Catia/Enovia and 2D drawing interpretation.Experience in development programs, particularly early-phase engineering and build planning.Familiarity with IVT (Integrated Verification & Test) processes.Knowledge of specs and standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing.Completion of Manufacturing Engineering school with the ability to contribute immediately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with specific client programs.Prior involvement in B-52 platform projects.Exposure to supply chain operations and integration.Background in tooling design and implementation.Experience in program start-up environments, which is valuable for long-term growth and contract extension.Work Environment

The work is conducted onsite with a first shift schedule and the potential for multi-shift work. This position follows a 9x80 work schedule. The environment involves collaboration with a team of 10 members. The role does not require travel or specific physical demands. The facility adheres to safety-sensitive guidelines but does not require specific security clearances to start.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
