 We are opening a role for a Manufacturing Engineer III in Pueblo, CO. This role will be responsible for supporting production lines, supporting new technology introductions, and new product development.

Where is the work:  

On-Site (5 days) at our Pueblo, Co facility. This role is considered safety-sensitive. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

Provide daily support of Production Line via MDI and follow up with Manufacturing Engineering support

Support site initiatives for YOY productivity improvement

Evaluate Vision Control System applications to improve quality control in process

Prepare Capital Projects business cases for Safety, Sustainability, Capacity, Quality, or Productivity opportunities and manage through implementation

Prepare monthly status updates with on capital and productivity projects

Champion operational excellence initiatives to remove waste

Propose design changes to improve DFM, specifically focused on safety, quality and cost

Mentor new engineers on Trane BOS processes, collaborate with other team members on larger scale projects (Layout changes, new technology, material flow changes)

Work with Engineering technicians to rapidly respond to Operations concerns

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferably Master’s Degree) with relevant experience

3+ years experience in Manufacturing Engineering

Demonstrated success in leading Cost reduction efforts in a manufacturing environment

Experience with Risk based analysis, preferably with FMEA and Project risk assessment tools

Experience with New Product Development processes

Preferable experience with Machining, Automation, Industrial Painting, Brazing, Torque, and Refrigerant handling

Fundamental knowledge of change control processes and procedures.

Proficiency in leading team based improvement events (Kaizen or RIEs)

Proficiency in using the 9 step problem solving process to drive improvement

 

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $74,000-$115,000/annually
