**Job Overview**
Implements and improves manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to optimize quality and output levels.
**What your background should look like**
Industrial or Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic engineer bachelor’s degree required
• Fully bilingual English-Spanish.
• Knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Self-directed individual able to deliver solutions.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing tools
• Ability to work on several activities at once.
• Ability to create and follow strategies and plans.
• Great communication skills.
EXPERIENCE
• 1 to 2 years in manufacturing environment supporting production– Assembly.
• Able to explain metrics such as efficiency, productivity and cost.
• Line balancing and experience implementing Lean manufacturing tools.
RESPONSABILITIES
• The Manufacturing Engineer will support the assembly area (existing & new process activities).
• The primary focus will be on the efficiency and productivity improvement of existing process.
• Strong emphasis on scrap reduction, and COPQ, implementing Poka-yokes, and other error-proofing techniques.
• Identify and lead six sigma projects required for Assy areas.
• Able to find, start and coordinate manufacturing improvements in, but not limited to: quality related process related and automation projects.
• Implement savings project according to the goal of company.
• Ensure the use the lean manufacturing principles tools.
• Work together with the rest of the support area to implement Kaizen events, Kaizen Blitz, etc.
• Industrial engineering task, such as Line balancing, time studies, etc.
• Develop, and maintenance of manufacturing process instructions
• Develop and update training materials for manufacturing processes
• Manage capital project efficiently to complete on time.
• Analyze performance and process control data.
• Implement TEOA-specific reporting standards and KPIs.
