**Responsibilities**
+ Provides manufacturing engineering support to Manufacturing and/or Assembly lines.
+ Works on difficult and complex problems and recommends actions based on engineering principles and methodology.
+ Leads Manufacturing activities such as Product testing and evaluations, FAI, SPC, and FMEA.
+ Leads medium to large scale projects and 3 _rd_ Party Certification e.g.. Capital Expenditure, NPI, Supplier Development, NADCAP
+ Develops and Improves Manufacturing and Engineering Processes and Procedures.
+ Utilizes Data Gathering and Analysis methods in problem solving and process improvement.
+ Updates and maintains essential manufacturing data such as BOMS, programs, and references.
+ Creates and maintains manufacturing process documentation such as Work Instructions, Standard Work, and Process Flow.
+ Exercises judgment within defined practices and standards in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria.
+ Supports team and company in ensuring that metrics and KPIs are met.
+ Able to perform quality work and exercise independent discretion with minimum supervision.
+ Able to complete projects and tasks while working individually or leading a cross functional team.
+ Able to adjust to non-routine situations by defining and utilizing appropriate methods and processes.
+ Able to transfer knowledge and train others.
+ Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ 3-4 years of relevant Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledge in reading and interpreting 2D blueprints with understanding of critical specifications and tolerances.
+ Experience in Team Center or other PLM software applications.
+ Understanding of problem-solving tools (RRCA, DMAIC, 8D) and GD&T.
+ Experience with Plastics Thermoforming, Metal Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Surface Processing, and/or Mechanical Assemblies is an advantage.
+ Knowledge of industry standards and specifications is an advantage (AS9100, NAS, BAC, ASTM, MIL etc.)
+ Experience leading complex projects and assignments is an advantage.
+ Ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
+ Highly analytical and very keen on details.
+ Above average to excellent Computer skills.
+ Good team collaboration skills.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
