MANUFACTURING ENGINEER I At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery in order to optimize quality and output levels. **Job Requirements** + Assisting in optimization and standardization of stamping, modeling, assembly, and other processes within the manufacturing environment. + Supporting senior engineers in ensuring processes are running at an optimum level for maximizing quality and output levels. + Helping design and develop manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms + Helping identify potential improvement areas and develop associated solutions to continually improve overall manufacturing system performance. **What your background should look like** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS** + Learn, apply and share knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and equipment. + Lead or participate in projects to maximize productivity. + Lead or participate in cost reduction projects, such as: scrap reduction, flow improvement, inventory reduction, cycle time reduction, etc. + Monitor manufacturing process activities, measure important process characteristics and analyze variation in order to detect and reduce waste.Analyze and provide information for decision + Making related to the outcome of key indicators for the manufacturing process. + Lead or participate in the introduction of new part numbers into an existing technology platform or process. + Lead process and equipment validations (IQ, OQ, PQ). + Sourcing and implementing new technologies that maximize the operation. E.g.
