Manufacturing Engineer I

Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to optimize and maintain manufacturing processes, focusing primarily on mechanical aspects for efficient production.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials

Ability to lead and motivate a team

Manage multiple projects and attend cross-functional meetings

Physically capable of moving assembly lines, lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement manufacturing processes on production lines

Identify improvements for safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity

Create work instructions for assembly line operators

Support assembly lines by resolving quality and equipment issues

Design custom fixtures and tools for assembly applications

Purchase tools/equipment; submit requests for large projects

Maintain material flow using Kanban strategies

Collaborate with Design Engineering on product design manufacturability

Pay: 68k-75k

Pay Details: $68,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
