Job Description
The main function of a Manufacturing Engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to solve problems related to industrial layout or manufacturing production. The role requires proficiency in creating engineering drawings and the ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
ResponsibilitiesStudy time motion methods and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas, and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify adherence to quality assurance specifications.Aid in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.Essential SkillsProficiency in time studies and workflow analysis.Experience with new assembly line design and launch.Skill in tooling design and jig/fixture design using CATIA or other CAD software.Experience with manufacturing process improvements and PFMEA.Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD).Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering required.5-7 years of experience required.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $67.00/hr.
