The Manufacturing Engineer - Digital Transformation is to define digital transformation roadmap, lead/execute digital transformation initiatives in Philips factory by collaborating with internal & external partners.
Your role:
Defines manufacturing technology and digital transformation roadmap including technology scouting, strategy, and programming
Leads and/or executes digital transformation projects
Collaborate to initiate and execute improvement projects linked to manufacturing processes and operation
Collaborate with technology development partners (internal & external) to trial and industrialize I4.0 technologies
Manage competence and provide training/deployment for digital technology
Executes the processes with embedded quality into the way of working with adherence to safety, cost regulatory and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.
You're the right fit if you have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 4-6 Years of experience in leading & executing factory digitization projects
Hands-on experience in design and development of digital transformation projects in factory/Manufacturing environment
Proven ability to translate factory business processes into digital solutions that optimize resource utilization and reduce cycle time.
Strong capability to design and implement digital solutions that provide clear visualization of critical metrics, enabling factory management to conduct timely reviews and corrective actions.
Experience in developing AI-driven solutions for “What-If” scenario analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in simulating factory operations for scenario planning and using these models as management tools for operational improvements.
Expertise in creating dashboard modules that empower management and line leaders to monitor factory performance and initiate corrective actions promptly.
Demonstrated ability to lead Future Factory initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 concepts and Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) requirements.
Solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles and their application in digitalization projects to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
