Manufacturing Engineer

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment with hand assembly, mechanical fasteners, and testing

Preferred Skills

Experience with electrical/electro-mechanical product manufacturing and assembly processes

Knowledge of welding (TIG, Electron Beam), vacuum furnace brazing, and machining

Practitioner of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and visual control implementations

Experience in developing tooling for mechanical and electrical product assembly

Understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles

Knowledge and use of PFMEA in manufacturing environments

Experience with continuous improvement and root cause problem-solving

Job Responsibilities

Generate and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions per MSOP standards

Create and update Oracle ERP routings as needed for products

Identify requirements for standard or special gauging, equipment, and tooling

Provide timely support in resolving production issues and complete NCRs per MSOP standards

Improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) through Lean Six Sigma tools

Support 5S and visual management efforts in manufacturing areas

Assist in work cell design, integration, and validation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Design Engineering, Tool Design, and production staff to improve workflow, throughput, quality, and safety

Participate in face-to-face cell meetings, customer calls, and team meetings as required

Pay: 31-42

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
