Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Transition to Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee the transition of design projects from prototype to full-scale high-speed manufacturing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 12 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with minimum 10 years of related experience, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree

Active Secret clearance

U.S. Citizenship

Experience with manufacturing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

Preferred Skills:

Advanced degree in management

Knowledge of lean principles, pull systems, mix/max controls, One Piece Flow, and RCA methodologies

Familiarity with 5S+1 Visual Factory, SIOP, and Gemba practices

Demonstrated adherence to MRP/MES systems and knowledge of ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, and QMS standards

Aerospace & Defense electronics or high-speed factory experience

Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, EAC analysis, and manufacturing labor standards

Experience working in a matrixed organization

Responsibilities:

Act as primary operations leader to transition design projects into high-speed manufacturing

Develop and manage schedules, oversee execution, and report status to Operations and Program leadership

Collaborate with technical leads to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements

Process and deliver feedback from Manufacturing and Test Engineering to program teams

Serve as Operations Lead during design reviews and attend customer meetings as needed

Facilitate Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality participation in design development to address manufacturability, testability, and inspectability issues

Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams

Lead development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies

Review best practices across manufacturing sites and integrate into operations

Establish, implement, and sustain success metrics incorporating best practices



Pay Details: $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
