Manufacturing Engineer – Build & Launch a Flagship Plant

Be one of the first to shape a $400M greenfield operation from Day One. We’re partnering with a global leader in thermal management systems to hire hands-on, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Engineers for a brand-new production facility. This isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to build something that matters from the ground up.

This new site will produce massive, 50,000 lb. modular cooling units for the world’s top data center complex systems involving welding, sheet metal, painting, and mechanical assembly. It’s low-volume, high-mix work that demands sharp problem-solving, practical thinking, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. The demand is exploding. Now we need great people to help bring it to life.

You’ll work directly with engineering, operations, and corporate teams to develop layouts, define processes, implement tooling, and lead capital projects. Each engineer will own a zone (welding, assembly, sheet metal, or paint), and help launch a clean-slate, high-impact facility from day one.

Why this opportunity stands out:

Greenfield plant launch – help define line layouts, tooling, process flows, and work instructions Own your space – pre-paint, post-paint, welding, or assembly areas will each have a dedicated ME Fast-growing market – the data center division is scaling from $650M → $2B in revenue Mentorship & autonomy – report to a leader who values trust, initiative, and hands-on experience Be part of something lasting – this isn’t a pilot; it’s the future flagship U.S. site for a proven product Competitive compensation: $80K–$130K salary (DOE) + lucrative annual bonus + full benefits day one (Medical, dental, vision) 401(k) + generous match 100% paid parental leave & maternity leave Tuition reimbursement, EAP, short/long-term disability & moreWho we're looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role Background in welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, and/or painting Strong Lean/Kaizen mindset Greenfield, brownfield, or plant launch experience preferred Ability to short-term travel (~2x/month) for onboarding and process transfer. Long-term travel will be minimal. You’ve built or fixed things, not just studied them
