The Building Facilities Site leader will Work with UAW Trades / Contractor Trades to Get the Plant site ready for a new program and Implement/ Install all Equipment for the new program. Purchase all the Materials, coordinate all the shipping of the trucks bringing in Supplies and Equipment into the site. Develop a Installation Schedule with the help of the Process Engineers, Launch Manger and the Plant Launch Manger.
Qualifications:
BSEE/BSME/BSC or related field, or related degree, or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education3-5 years of knowledge and experience within Building/Facilities implementing new programs and equipment installationDesire to learn a diverse skill set including, air handling, contamination elimination and prevention, power distribution, foundations, etc.Strong desire to deliver program management, specifically of Installation contractors.Must be open to travelStrong Organizational skillsAbility to coordinate activities and develop timing for building Infrastructure and Equipment Installation across multiple organizations.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

Lead the specification and delivery of Facility and Infrastructure to support PTO programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global PTO sites.
Implement and apply standard specifications to support building utilities and foundations to support process equipment. Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.Lead simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate equipment installation during program reviews with all interested parties.Participate in management program reviews and represent the Facilities and Infrastructure organization in commodity discussions.Define the scope of Equipment Installation and contract appropriate resources to install after reviewing bids and awarding contract. Direct activities of the Installation contractor or internal trades to install and power on equipment according to the required program master timing. Coordinate PTME Process requirements with Ford Land activities to ensure Central utilities support PTME demands.Deliver new model program work for various Powertrain programs supporting and working in either MI, Ohio, TN or Windsor, ONT3D CAD review abilities, ability to read 2D blueprints and construction drawings.Work with Federal, State and Local jurisdictions, and coordinate necessary building permits and inspections.Liaison with Ford Corporate Fire Protection to ensure adequate fire protection for operations to be compliant with AON Insurance Underwriters.Obtain Architectural drawings and Certified Stamped drawings as required for any non Ford Land delivered, structural, fire protection and coordinate validation testing.Coordinate structural lifting device certification per Ford PTME Standards. Procure any Installation material, equipment rentals, and Infrastructure required to support project delivery.Coordinate and track Program Facilities Funding and maintain financial checkbook. Support as needed Program studies and financial requirements.
