Job Type: Full-Time; 12-Month Consultant Assignment
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (First Shift)
Pay Rate: $36.50 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will drive innovation in manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient, reliable, and economical production, repair, and overhaul of critical aerospace components. Your expertise will directly support product reliability, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and improve manufacturing and repair processes for aftermarket aerospace products.
Conduct tests and measurements to ensure process control and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Review failure data, parts usage, and costs to make data-driven recommendations.
Define optimum configurations, workscope, and build standards for existing products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service Engineering, Repair Engineering, Program Engineering, Technical Advisors, and Miramar Repair Shop) to optimize reliability and reduce costs.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting, compliance, quality, and EH&S initiatives.
Develop and review repair and rework procedures, including CAD modeling when required.
Deliver training on technical and process flow improvements for shop teams.
Participate in new product and customer program implementations.
Track, analyze, and report on unit reliability and cost-reduction initiatives.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining testing equipment (electrical, hydraulic, electronic controls, and software).
Strong background in developing and improving manufacturing or repair processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and specifications.
Solid problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
CAD modeling experience.
Previous aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) experience.
Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
Demonstrated ability to deliver cost reduction and reliability improvement initiatives.

Pay Details: $36.50 per hour
