Job Description

This position is responsible for process improvements. The role includes project management, leading process improvements related to processes and defect reduction, specifying new equipment, and employing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to enhance efficiencies. The engineer will work with automated assembly equipment, including robotics (Fanuc and Yamaha) and PLCs, and may utilize AutoCAD or Solidworks to modify existing equipment, tooling, or fixtures. Additionally, the role involves creating and updating documents for team members and maintenance crew, using SQL databases to review process data, and helping implement a preventive maintenance schedule for maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvements in the Final Assembly area for ECU.Manage projects and specify new equipment.Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to increase efficiencies.Work with automated assembly equipment, including robotics and PLCs.Use AutoCAD or Solidworks for equipment modifications.Create and update documentation for team members and maintenance.Utilize SQL databases for process data review.Implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr.
