Job Requirements
Work together with Design Engineering to provide solutions and processes to manufacture new generator stators as well as service by creating and issuing detailed work instructions to factory floor operations. Assist in training and development of hourly workforce both in processes performed as well as product function and CTQ elements.Hands on factory floor trouble shooting with hourly workforce including process development, failure analysis of service products, and product / process non-conformances and support internal and external customer technical conversations with process and product expertise.Design and procure tooling needed for stator assembly processes on service generators. Apply 3D CAD software, work with vendors, document tooling, drive improvement, and estimate process hours.Support efforts on development projects, 5S, CI, process and cycle-time reduction to improve stator operations and create the most efficient workflow solutions in the stator final assembly area and compile and lead manufacturing process reviews with shop floor personnel.Collaborate on facility upgrades and tooling development. Decrease costs, improve manufacturing, analyze quality issues.Provide timely resolution of product, process and equipment problems in the form of short- and long-term solutions and understand root cause to implement CAPA and avoid recurrence. Identify scopes to be offshore and coordinate workload for the global team
Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering discipline or manufacturing equivalent with 3+ years hands on experience in manufacturing related fieldWorking knowledge of various manufacturing processes including metal joining / brazing and tooling common to hand skill areas.History of working well with others in a collaborative environment.Mathematical and Mechanical Proficiency3D modeling experience with NX or Mastercam software desirable

Must have a valid US drivers license and should be able to drive in the U.S.
