Together with our employees we constantly strive to create a better world of mobility.Job Responsibilities:The Manufacturing Engineer will enhance and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
This role involves defining and implementing change processes, managing fixtures, utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and programming and maintaining tools.
The Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure seamless implementation of process changes, and support future projects by setting up lines, ensuring station readiness, and installing equipment.
Additionally, the engineer will provide critical support during production startups and ongoing production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
Complete ownership and clear communication are key to succeeding in this role.
The goal is to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting production targets and maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred Qualifications and skills:
Experience working in a production environment
Proven experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling.
Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues using 5 Why methodology, research root causes, and develop effective, creative solutions with sound decision-making.
Ability to interpret and apply a range of instruction formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) and address problems lacking standard solutions.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, including extended hours when needed.
Proactive mindset with ability to recommend process, policy, and system improvements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with 3D CAD software
Knowledge of AutoCAD
Understanding of MES system and integration
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial
engineering with 3-5 years of Automotive industry related experience
